I stopped over at the local Fairfield, IA business that sells herbal remedies, homeopathics, etc. I talked to a nice lady named Julie. I explained that I had dropped my resume off several weka ago but hadn’t heard back. She said at first that she thought they had filled the position, the later said they were interested in another person and were I’m a holding pattern about it. She also said that they usually hired women, “not like it was a written policy or anything, but …”
I said that while I was light on the homeopathic part, I had 30 years of experience with computers. She asked me what I wanted to do, I said I wanted to have a career and that I liked to work with people and that I had worked as a tech support person with difficult customers for years. She recommended I check with Cambridge.
Wondering if I have a basis of a lawsuit….
