Finding your friends on Facebook based on your home town
As if you don’t have enough friends on Facebook, this link will help you find friends in your home town, presumably by comparing your stated hometown to the one that they have provided. I have used the words “stated” and “provided” intentionally because there is nothing that verifies ts information. I suppose that if you wanted to find people in your current town, you could temporarily set your hometown to find people in that town. When I tried this link (which appeared on my Facebook one day), I fond a whole bunch of people I knew from high school who have I have not already friended. I am personally and socially kinda far from where I was back then, but it was fun to see some of them. There is a more general interface if you Drop the parameters like this that allows you to search by universities or any arbitrary city.
