Praise ‘Bob’!!
No, this is not a SubGenius rant.
For some reason i have had a couple of conversations with people named Bob about the name “Bob”. There are a lot of us, seemingly, but increasingly it’s of a particular age. I have noticed that there are very few Bob’s under 30, for example. If they were named Robert by their parents, they probably go by Rob and, as the “Bob” at the Einstein Brothers said, “they were kinda the pastry eaters” (this coming from a bagel guy, i guess that must mean something secret in the breakfast food shop trade)
anyways, Praise “Bob”, because if you live long enough someday you’ll realize there aren’t too many any more, but there sure seem to be a lot of Joshes, but nobody goes by that any more…….
