an update…
Its been a little while since i just posted somethign about what’s up here..
it’s been over a month since i started working from home all the time. I have a whole month of “lookin out my back door” pictures taken with my phone cam.
Michelle’s gotten into weaving and there’s a loom in my living room. I thought that the loom might be something michelle could enjoy instead of twitchy video games, something more productive. She agrees with me, but then video games are still fun, apparently..
I went to the hospital last weekend to check out some “chest pains” which turned out to be nothing immediately related to heart, but now I’m investigating things like sleep apnea and angina. Once the medical establishemt has their hand on you, though, it’s a slippry slope and they want to do more and more tests.
Just to make life interesting, i just learned this morning from my sister that my mom’s last MRI came back with new tumors in her “pleura”. as my sister put it, she was expecting this stuff to be persistent but hoped for more reprieve than a few months. My dad’s kinda broke up by all this, mom’s ok. She is having a biopsy most likely followed by chemo and radiation. The radiation part is new, guess she’ll be losing her hair again….
at least i have my health and a job. oh yeah, maybe i don’t have so much health as thought, they’re running tests..
