Well I know this is very un-Web 2.0, but I am firing my herd of website elves. well, one of them. and taking the other one back in the house to do… well whatever i want to with it. Now my twitxr is the public front that collects my pictures and posts them on my flicker, makes a xml file so I can post a summary on my livejournal using a perl library called LJ::Simple There’s a more complicated way to use LJ::Simple that I didn’t think i needed. I’ll bet everyone starts that way. what is still to do: * find the URL (i think i have it elsewhere in this LJ) to make the latitude and longitude mean something. I’ll have to start carrying my gps around for this purpose. Sure. I still have some tings to learn about how to put in street locations, i’m getting some wacky results with things like 19th &wazee,denver,co Do i need to add st or ave? we’ll learn as we go, to be sure.
