Mom Update

My mom’s home today. I talked to her just after she got home. We decided to go to Michigan for the 4th of July tosee her. Both she and my dad tried to talk us out of going, saying that we can’t stay there, that they can’t entertain us, that it’ll be my mom’s first week into the chemo.

We’re staying with my sister in Ann Arbor this time, getting a rental car, maybe take a side trip to see some relatives up near Bay City.

Oh, and to those who want to send healing towards my mom: I have her explicit ok. We did some ritual last weekend and I made one of the first things I’ve ever sewn, a pillow with rose petals, cardamom & lavender.
