Rudolph C. Anzlovar, Inventor
So this is about the coolest thing I have seen in a while. I’d often
heard that my grampa had some patents to his name, but I never actually
knew anything about them. Today Google launched a patent search ability.
I entered “anzlovar”. This is what I found. These patents were filed
several years before my dad was born.
My grampa did a lot of amazing things when
I was a kid. He was always making up cool shit. He had a plastic skull
model that he ran a string to. He knew a little ventriloquism, so he
would make it talk to me. Yes, when i was a kid i talked to a glowing,
talking, skull in the corner of my grampa’s workshop. Grampa also once
built a rowboat on roller skates that you propelled around on the
pavement with poles with crutch tips on the ends of them. Once he took
an old TV, took out the guts (a big console job) and put in a mirror. He
then arranged a camera and me so that he got a picture that seemed to
depict me on TV. Grampa was into saltwater aquariums in the 60’s. it had
to be hella expensive to do back then. To round out this trip down
nostalgia lane for me, here’s a picture of Rudolph C Anzlovar holding
yours truly.
