so i’ve been getting these “how come you haven’t posted in your livejournal” nudges.. then i log into livejournal and they have this new feature called “nudge” which makes it so you can nag your friend to post in their livejournal. sometimes i wonder who gets to declare “too connected”. I’m not as tied down to the electronic aethyrs as some (i only have to carry a pager/cell/email blackberry every few weeks, and it’s not normally atached to me) Normally I have my cel phone, which leaves enough electronic breadcrumbs for a subpoena-happy district attorney to track my every movement should someone ever decide that I was A Threat, but since i pay the bill, I feel i have the right to leave it behind. Not that I ever really intentionaly do that, but like many noble privileges, it’s the knowledge thta you can that empowers, not the memory that you have. but i digress.. I’ve now been at my job at storeperform technologies for 9 months. After a year, hopefully i won’t be a colleciton of pre-exesting conditions, and i would like to get the titanium plate and screws out of my leg. My boss had something similar on a much more extensive break.. and his doctor had him get them out post haste because the screws wold be like wedges if he ever did something stupid again. Michelle’s still in a lot of pain from her dislocation.. she’s scheduled for surgery 2/6 but she’s seeing Dr Oba, a local witch doctor (to me, anyone that has several different “weird” “sciences” on theic card desrve to be called witch doctors. besides, that’s what pat calls his friend dr bill) who does acupuncture and deep tissue and some herbalism stuff. Hoping that he can fix her so she doesnt need surgery. this morning i woke up with my shoulder feeling hurt.. right sholder.. feels a bit like it did a year ago. Just glad that i dont have to dig post-holes in rocky colorado dirt. in the snow. speakin of which.. where’s the snow? dangerously dry, i hope we’re allwoed to have fires in the summer for the drumcircles..
