I got a call from my former coworker at supersign yesterday. We ended up hanging out in the Sundown Saloon in Boulder.. turns out that this guy who had a competing sign shop got killed and it’s been making headlines in Boulder (curious folks could google Evans Sussman, use google’s cache to read the boulder camera articles)
Lots of other gossip.. I’m so glad I’m not at Supersign any more, esp. after hearing that Nick, the owner, was out at another sign company trying to get a job while his employees were at the shop wondering where the heck the boss was. Apparently supersign hasn’t closed, but they’re in trouble.
I like my job now, working with computers and getting things done. Sometimes I miss the tangibility of being able to point out things that I’ve done and being able to say “I did that!” afterwards.
