Michelle to the doctor update
I took Michelle to the orthopedic doctor today. Bottom line: 6 weeks
of physical therapy, doctor thinks 20% chance of surgery being needed.
We picked up copies of the xrays from good samaritan. more accurate to
say “printed copies” because that hospital uses all digital x ray
technology. (which means that I have the copies now) Doctor gave her an
orthopedic elbow brace.. lots of velcro, and it has this nifty dial that
lets them dial in the range of motion they want het to have. He said
that the elbow is most likely to get stiff unless we do something about
it.. which means physical therapy. Currently her brace is dialed into
45-100 degrees. So none of these pictures is of michelle, but they
illustrate a few things.. Here’s a pic of someone with a dislocated
elbow. Michelle’s elbow looked about like this when I got to the
hospital the other day.
