So one of the issues I have with LJ is that once I hit submit, I lose control of it. “So make it private” someone said. So I did. But I was in for a surprise.

So here is the scenario.. see if this doesnt happen to you. Say that You (Y) has a friend (F) who has you (Y) on his list of friends. So you post something to LJ and make it private, then find yourself on F’s “Friends” page, and lo and brhold you see your private post apparentl posted on his website. OMIGOD… I so didnt mean to post that publicly..

Well a it turns out i really did set it to private, and if i logged off i couldnt see that page. But i sure was scared for a few minutes.
