Gonna try socks again

Facebook isn’t letting me make comments on people’s statuses… so I’m making blog posts out of some of my rejected comments…

I learned to knit a few years ago from a (now ex) girlfriend. She was a mad knitter, always had her project with her. Asked me what I wanted to make, i said socks. With some help, over the course of a couple years, I made several pairs of socks. I tell this story to knitters, apparently socks are one of the hardest things you can do. She had to rescue me a few times per sock, but I got them done. I haven’t made any since, but a couple weeks ago I bought a few balls of alpaca yarn, and (with some help) I’m gonna try to do it again.
