declaration of secession 3 of 3
Reclaiming the Right to Alter or Abolish: The Declaration Rewritten—Part 3: Declaration of Collective Refusal
By Dr. Pru Lee (Pru Pru)
Preamble to The Declaration 2.0
We, the ones never meant to survive— The ones this country counted out, stepped over, locked up, locked out— the ones who loved it anyway, who stayed, who fought, who bled, who built this country from soil and scar— we now declare: this system has voided its claim on our allegiance.
We will not be ruled by men who mistake power for divinity.
We will not fund a federal machine that chews up children, censors truth, and sanctifies cruelty.
We will not be governed by a Court that kneels to kings and silences dissent.
We will not obey laws that demand our submission in the name of tradition, hierarchy, or hate.
We refuse.
Not in chaos—but in clarity.
Not in rage—but in righteous rebalancing.
We declare our consent withdrawn.
And with that, we reclaim our duty— to build governance rooted in equity, to form alliances across cities and states that still believe in liberty, to protect each other when the law forgets how.
This is not a secession from democracy.
It is a return to it.
The kind they feared we’d remember.
The kind they never meant for us to inherit.
So here we stand.
No crown.
No cannon.
Just conviction.
We call this the Declaration of Collective Refusal.
And let the record show:
We didn’t flee America.
We rewrote it.

What this administration has done to deserve our collective refusal
Let the record show:
He has authorized the violent separation of families—ripping children from their parents’ arms, locking them in cages, then lying and calling them “the worst of the worst.”
He has ignored court orders and defied injunctions—openly disobeying judges who ruled to halt deportations, restore rights, or inspect detention centers.
He has permitted masked contractors—some possibly Jan 6 insurrectionists—to operate as federal agents, snatching protestors off the streets in unmarked vans, without warrant, badge, or due process.
He has denied medical care to detainees, including pregnant women, chronically ill patients, and people with active medical emergencies—letting suffering become policy.
He has refused to allow inspections of federal detention facilities—hiding evidence of abuse, neglect, and unlawful conditions from public oversight.
He has neutered Congress—sidestepping their power of the purse, bypassing legislative authority, and ruling by executive decree.
He has declared dictatorial intent—not in jest, not in theory, but openly—testing whether the nation would flinch or fold.
He has stated he may not uphold the Constitution—a document he swore to defend—claiming ignorance of obligation while actively dismantling its protections.
He has gutted the federal government from the inside—slashing programs that protect clean air, clean water, fair wages, public education, and food security.
He has weaponized artificial intelligence against the American people—feeding our private data into predictive systems like Palantir, ImmigrationOS, and Project Maven to surveil, sort, and silence dissent.
He has enabled regime-aligned enforcers to access the private data of 300 million Americans—with the Supreme Court’s blessing—despite documented histories of civil rights violations.
He has waged war on women—not just through the courts, but by attempting to purge women voters using AI red-flagging and partisan data games.
He has elevated White supremacy into policy—targeting DEI programs, banning Black history, and rewarding extremist ideology with appointments and power.
He has pressured universities—threatening to defund, deregister, or punish them unless they align with ideological agendas driven by groups like the Heritage Foundation.
He has punished political opponents—not through debate, but through audits, surveillance, IRS harassment, federal investigations, and contract terminations.
He has used economic chaos as a weapon—forcing shutdowns, blocking aid, and manufacturing fiscal instability to consolidate power.
He has demanded loyalty oaths and corporate compliance—using the federal government like a syndicate, where refusal to kneel results in financial, legal, or reputational ruin.
He has made a mockery of democracy, stacking the courts with loyalists, ignoring subpoenas, and treating the rule of law like a game show buzzer to hit—or not—at will.
He has turned federal law enforcement into a weaponized tool of the regime, prioritizing fear over justice, loyalty over law, and obedience over truth.
He has stacked the Supreme Court with loyalists—not for justice, but for protection—designing his own immunity and placing himself beyond the reach of accountability.
He has manipulated global markets through reckless tariffs, that he claimed others would pay for besides the American people, used tariffs to punish enemies AND allies, reward cronies, and spin economic sabotage as strategy.
He has declared war on democracy—not with soldiers, but with systems—gutting the watchdogs, flooding the courts, rigging the rules until justice became a game only the powerful can win.
He has made the agencies meant to protect us answer only to him, demanding loyalty oaths instead of lawful conduct, turning entire departments into extensions of his personal vengeance.
He has punished educators, censored libraries, and threatened universities—not to preserve virtue, but to erase history, intimidate dissent, and force obedience to a singular ideology.
He has redefined patriotism as submission.
He has redefined freedom as permission.
He has redefined America as property—to be owned, ruled, and sold.
He has made clear, through action and intention, that the democracy is no longer governed with the consent of all its people—but with the coercion of some and the silence of many.
He supported and pushed forward legislation that made millions of Americans lose their healthcare, their food support, and their unemployment protections.
He threatened to remove judicial powers and has stripped protective privileges from prior Democratic presidents.
He is a known affiliate and sometimes friend of individuals deemed untoward or enemies of the state, including Vladimir Putin; convicted child s** trafficker Jeffrey Epstein; Andrew and Tristan Tate; and White supremacists like Nick Fuentes, Enrique Tarrio, Laura Loomer, David Duke, and members of the Proud Boys. While accusations and associations do not mean he is guilty of any of the things these folks are associated with and are known for… the company we keep speaks volumes about who we are at core and what we are okay with.
He was convicted on 34 felony counts and has been accused of participating in Epstein’s child sex ring. No U.S. president—not one—has ever been criminally convicted before him. He became the first U.S. president in history to be criminally convicted—found guilty on 34 felony counts for falsifying business records to cover up a hush money payment during his 2016 campaign.
He has targeted homeless communities through policy—stripping protections, removing aid, and criminalizing poverty instead of solving it.
He has put the health and safety of Americans at risk by ignoring science, research, and best practices—allowing diseases like measles and the plague to spread while dismantling safety systems like FEMA and the weather service.
He has reintroduced segregation into public schools and attempted to erase Black, Brown, and women’s contributions from military history, sports, websites, museums, and historical archives.
He has provoked our allies and trading partners—souring diplomatic relationships with Canada, Greenland, and Mexico through insult, threat, and exploitation.
He has aligned himself with Christian nationalism and supported Project 2025’s effort to establish a singular state religion—undermining religious freedom and violating the First Amendment.
He has been found liable for SA and defamation—yet continues to vilify survivors, mock accountability, and parade impunity as strength.
He has worked to strip rights from the LGBTQ+ community—including targeting gender-affirming care, trans athletes, and protections for same-sex marriage.
He has supported and celebrated the reversal of Roe v. Wade—erasing bodily autonomy for millions of women and people capable of pregnancy, and forcing birth as state policy.
He has weaponized FEMA and denied aid to political enemies.
He has tried to erase immigrant communities via census manipulation.
He has installed “acting” officials to bypass Senate confirmation.
He has sabotaged USPS to disrupt pandemic voting.
He has threatened journalists, whistleblowers, and political enemies with jail, surveillance, and violence.
He has enabled widespread voter suppression through court stacking and red-state policy rollbacks.
He has dismantled the Federal Reserve’s Independence—firing Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook without cause, undermining the central bank’s insulation from political pressure.
He has imposed Emergency Tariffs and withered Foreign Aid. Using emergency powers, Trump imposed sweeping tariffs under IEEPA—now in legal turmoil—and froze billions in foreign aid, sidestepping Congress completely.
He has deployed Federal Control and Force in Washington, D.C. In August, he invoked emergency law to federalize the D.C. Metropolitan Police, deployed the National Guard, and arrested hundreds—even though crime was at a 30 year low. He continues to threaten to do the same in multiple other blue states only, even though several cities in red states have higher crime rates than the cities he is targeting.
He has attempted to mandate Voter ID and end Mail in Voting via Executive Order
Trump issued an executive order requiring voter ID for all elections, alongside eliminating mail in voting—despite election administration traditionally falling
under state jurisdiction.
He has enforced Morality Through Administrative Agencies—Imposed ideological mandates through HHS, Education, and DOJ—pushing forced birth, anti-trans rules, and religious exemptions across federal systems. Replaced law with religious doctrine.
He allowed Classified War Plans to Leak Through Unsecured Channels. Sensitive national security information—including war strategies—has been shared via unsecured chats, private servers, and backchannel apps. He’s turned state secrets into gossip threads, endangering lives and exposing our vulnerabilities by negligence or design.
He has hijacked Emergency Declarations to Bypass Congress—Again. He revived his old tactic of declaring fake national emergencies to funnel billions toward pet projects Congress refused to fund. Executive power became his personal ATM—rewriting the Constitution by decree, not law.
He has accepted a $200 Million Private Jet from a Foreign Government While in Office. Took a lavish Boeing 787 Dreamliner from Qatar while serving as president—an act of blatant self-enrichment and potential violation of the Constitution’s Foreign Emoluments Clause. He’s not just playing king—he’s cashing in like one.
He has politicized COVID Response and Sabotaged Public Health Infrastructure. Downplayed the virus, mocked masks, and promoted bleach and horse paste. Bullied the CDC into silence. These decisions cost over a million lives. And now in 2025, he’s gutting public health agencies again, firing top scientists, spreading conspiracy theories, and letting diseases like measles and plague re-emerge. He’s not protecting us—he’s politicizing pathogens.
He has either been uniformed, checked-out, lying, covering, confused, or otherwise when asked just about any question concerning what is happening in or under his administration. And while we do not have an accurate count (because the media stopped tallying after dozens upon dozens of these evasions) we know do know the pattern:
– “I don’t know anything about it” when ICE was locking up children.
– “I haven’t seen the report” when Putin attacked our elections.
– “I just found out about it myself” when the DOJ collapsed into partisan sludge.
– “I didn’t know he was indicted” when asked about violent insurrectionists.
– “I don’t know the details” when pressed about war plans leaking from his own people.
This man, holding the most powerful office in the world for the second damn time, has made “I don’t know anything about it” a presidential doctrine.
He has signed an Executive Order on Gender Markers (2025) revoking prior federal guidance that allowed U.S. citizens to select ‘X’ as a gender marker on passports and other federal documents—directly targeting trans and nonbinary Americans—setting them up for harassment and detention when traveling.
He has weaponized the Border—Again. Memes and internet posts were used to justify denials of entry, visa cancellations, and detainments—especially for migrants or activists with leftist views or gender-nonconforming expression. U.S. citizens, especially those who “look” undocumented or speak with accents, have been harassed, interrogated, and detained at the southern border under vague national security justifications. The administration used private Telegram channels and unofficial “watchlists” to target LGBTQ+ asylum seekers and deport them to unsafe countries—some known for criminalizing queer identity.
He has pressured Texas to Gerrymander for Personal Gain. He asked the Texas governor to redraw district maps outside the legal timeframe to secure five additional congressional seats for his party. This wasn’t about democracy—it was about domination. When he thinks he cannot win the game, he tries to move the goal post in his favor.
He has deployed Federal Troops Into Los Angeles Without State Request
He sent military forces into Los Angeles under the guise of “restoring order,” bypassing the governor and violating norms of federal restraint. This was not protection. It was a show of force—designed to intimidate, not assist.
This list is not meant to be exhaustive. It is, in fact, the mere tip of the iceberg of the harm and endangerment his decisions have placed on the American people, mostly in the last 225 days since he has been in office.
That means he’s orchestrated all this damage in just over 7 months.
Let that sit in your chest for a minute.
Affirmation of Intent: How We Will Govern Ourselves Differently
We withdraw our consent from authoritarianism not as an ending—but as a beginning.
We embrace and protect democracy.
We reject its sabotage.
We reject its weaponization.
We reject the slow rot of complicity disguised as order.
What we affirm is this:
That power must flow both ways—
from the governed and to the governed,
rooted in shared dignity, mutual protection, and collective truth.
So we imagine a governance rooted in radical transparency.
No hidden executive orders cloaked in cruelty.
No billionaires behind curtains scripting the fate of the many.
We build systems where inspectors general are untouchable.
Where oversight is not optional.
Where courts protect the people—not the presidency.
We envision a democracy that budgets for care before war,
that funds truth before propaganda,
that pays teachers more than tyrants,
and where no leader is above the law—not even the loudest one.
We affirm that our safety should not depend on the whims of one man
(or the secret cabal of billionaires pulling the strings from the shadows).
We affirm that our rights are not bargaining chips in backroom deals.
That our voices cannot be priced out or gerrymandered away.
And above all:
We choose community over control.
Coalition over coercion.
And liberation over loyalty to a broken order.
We will rebuild.
We will protect.
We will reimagine.
And our infrastructure will be built not on obedience, but on belonging.
Our Unity, Our Right, and Our Resolve
We do not seek to escape this country.
Nor hand it over willingly to a tyrant.
We intend to reclaim it.
We do not flee.
We forge.
And what we forge will not resemble the lies we inherited.
We will not ask for permission to remake a future our ancestors never got to see.
We will not beg the hand that broke us to teach us how to heal.
We will write new laws in the margins of their mandates.
We will teach our children how to unlearn obedience and live out loud.
We will build networks that defy surveillance,
schools that reject indoctrination,
and justice that doesn’t need permission to move.
We will fight fire with fire.
Because to stay in the fight, you have to match the energy of the fight—or lose.
We match it with disruption.
We match it with refusal.
We match it with invention, coordination, and imagination sharpened to a blade.
We are not bound to uphold the machinery that devours us.
We are here to dismantle it.
And we do not need the master’s tools to break the master’s grip.
This is our vow:
We will not disappear.
We will not kneel.
We will not comply with a democracy dressed up,
performing freedom while weaponizing the script.
We will alter what has betrayed us.
We will abolish what has devoured us.
And in its place, we will plant something rooted,
righteous,
and ours.
THE DECLARATION OF COLLECTIVE REFUSAL
We were born in the margins of a promise.
Raised in the shadows of a myth.
And we have waited long enough.
We the people—unbought, unbossed, unbroken—
do now gather in truth, not fiction.
We refuse to let this nation collapse into the hands of tyrants
while pretending it’s still democracy.
We are standing our ground.
We are remembering—
who we are, what we are owed, and what we will no longer permit.
We refuse to be governed by cruelty.
We refuse to finance our own oppression.
We refuse to allow our labor, our taxes, our data, or our silence
to build a regime that criminalizes freedom
and weaponizes allegiance.
We refuse the illusion of choice,
the theater of justice,
the myth of neutrality
in a system that protects power, not people.
We reclaim our consent.
We withdraw it from systems that betray us
and invest it in communities that defend us.
We will fund each other.
We will protect each other.
We will out-organize the empire that called us expendable.
This refusal is righteous.
It is love, weaponized for survival.
Love that does not flinch from truth.
Love that demands transformation.
Let it be known:
We are not waiting for permission to be free.
We are not asking for our humanity to be respected.
We are declaring it. Together. Now.

If this Declaration speaks the truth in your marrow—
say YES in the comments.
Let your affirmation echo in digital ink.
Let the record show:
you didn’t stay silent.
You stood up.
You chose refusal.
You chose us.
You stood in moral courage.
You disobeyed intelligently.
You made good trouble.
You held the line.
You PUSHED the line back.
This is more than a post.
It’s a line in the sand.
And your ‘yes’ is the signature.
Signed by those who protected democracy in America—
and refused to feed cruelty or take a knee.
